It's time for music!

Hi everyone,

Today we went to the museum. Our teacher's name was Koka Ora and she was super cool. We learned about the hue and some super cool traditional Maori instruments. They are made from all-natural materials like wood, flax & pawa. What I enjoyed was getting to make the purerehua which was one of the instruments that we saw & we got to make our own. I am still wondering about how they make the sound they make maybe, it's the vibrations.

  1. Hi Libby,
What a great day you had at the museum with your classmates and Koka Ora. Looks like there was lots of learning going on. I enjoyed your report stating what the instruments were made of, as well as making making them. hope the sounds they made were amazing.
